But did you really?…

You do it for status. You become better and more human and more qualified than the rest of the world when you visit a country, twice if two, immense if more, and a god if a dozen. 

But all you did was glance at it like something interesting, before snapping your selfie. Did you learn anything?

Did you culture yourself? Did you feel the life around you? Did you pause and consider time and humanity, its glories and failings? Did you stare and weep at the ancient’s feet upon witnessing beauty incarnate, or did you edit your photo to make yourself presentable before it, using it like a green screen for your face and body? Did you eat what life provides, or what life is supposed to be? And did you savor the air, or did you take it like some pill to get you to the next important place? Did you live full with soul, or did you live the image of one?
